The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will launch a series of key urban projects, including multi-level parking facilities and biogas plants, starting between September 15 and October 2. The projects aim to address critical urban challenges, such as pollution and waste management citywide.

Significant developments include parking infrastructure at Greater Kailash-I and Punjabi Bagh, a 100 TPD compressed biogas (CBG) plant at Ghoga Dairy by IGL, and a 200 TPD biogas facility in Nangli Sakrawati. These facilities are expected to play a crucial role in reducing pollution and producing LPG, while the residual waste will be converted into commercially viable manure.

The MCD will also oversee the construction of a new MC Primary School in Prem Nagar. Extension projects include the waste-to-energy plant at Okhla, set to increase capacity from 1,950 TPD to 2,950 TPD, and a new facility in Narela-Bawana. These initiatives underscore Delhi's commitment to sustainable urban development.
