The forest and wildlife department in Delhi has revamped the process for tree transplantation by enhancing documentation and monitoring on the DPTA e-Forest portal. This update aims to improve oversight and compliance under the Delhi Preservation of Trees Act (DPTA).

Now, detailed stage-wise information and geo-tagged photographic evidence must be uploaded by user agencies, individuals, and the government. These images, capturing various stages of transplantation, will help verify the exact location and process, while periodic updates will track tree survival and condition for up to 36 months.

Officers from West, Central, North, and South forest divisions are tasked with ensuring compliance reports are submitted on the portal and providing feedback for further improvements.
