Mary Kom steps into World Boxing Championships final by defeating North Korea’s Kim Hyang Mi

The renowned Indian Olympic boxer, Mary Kom defeated North Korea's Kim Hyang Mi 5-0 in the light flyweight (48kg) category and stepped into the final at the AIBA Women's World Championships in New Delhi.
With this victory in the semi-final of the AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships 2018, the 35-year old Mary Kom has portrayed tremendous dexterity, mainly in those moments who she was observed using both her arms awesomely to land crucial punches on her opponent Kim Hyang Mi.
Mary Kom will now go for a fight with Ukraine's Hanna Okhota, who got better of Japan's Madoka Wada in the other semi-final on Saturday.
"The five judges ruled in Mary's favor with the elaborate scoreline reading 29-28, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27," The Quint reported.
Mary Kom initially had a cool start in the first round. She utilized the right fantastically whereas her opponent Kim Hyang Mi was observed quite aggressive in the second round. Mary Kom successfully defended her punches and was seen coming up with a right arm jab. She continued her swift movement until the last moment. The 35-year old Kom, who hails from Manipur, has a dream of winning a record-creating 6th world championship gold medal alive.
