Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has advised his office and colleagues to refrain from issuing statements regarding India's decision to send its team for the ICC Champions Trophy next year.

According to PTI, Naqvi has adopted a policy of non-commentary, allowing the ICC to handle the delicate matter.

He has instructed PCB officials to continue preparations assuming India will participate, submitting draft schedules and security plans to the ICC.

Naqvi aims to avoid unnecessary controversies in media while focusing on renovating venues in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, which will undergo final inspection by the ICC in September.

Despite behind-closed-doors strategy discussions with government officials, Naqvi remains tight-lipped on the board's potential response should India decline to participate.
