The Indian Pickleball League kicked off Monday with grand celebrations, as organizers lauded its potential to become a major sport in the country.
Launched by The Times Group and sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association under the Sports Ministry, six franchises will compete for the prestigious trophy unveiled at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The league aims to conclude on December 7 and seeks to elevate pickleball as a leading sport, tapping into a renewed nationwide enthusiasm for athletic activities.
