Lewis Hamilton is confident he can secure a victory for Ferrari in the Monaco Grand Prix, despite not starting on the front row. His performance, along with teammate Charles Leclerc's, was promising during practice sessions, setting expectations for breaking Mercedes' dominance this season.
Hamilton managed to top the time sheets in Q3, though was later outpaced by Red Bull's Max Verstappen and championship leader Kimi Antonelli, placing him on the second row. The tight and demanding Monaco circuit poses a significant challenge for overtaking, but Hamilton, who won from third in 2016, remains determined.
Although Ferrari hasn't won a Grand Prix since 2024 and faced a drop in performance from practice to qualifying in Monaco, Hamilton is encouraged by his recent form. He maintains a positive outlook, amid previous underwhelming performances, believing he is in a strong place with the car and team.
