Planned strike forces Portugal's TAP to cancel 1,316 flights

Portugal's TAP airline will cancel a total of 1,316 flights as a result of a strike planned for the end of January, affecting nearly 160,000 passengers, the flag carrier said on Thursday.

The state-owned airline said it expects the walkout to cost the company about 48 million euros ($51.94 million) in revenue. ($1 = 0.9241 euros)
