MoPSW Secretary Reviews Key Projects at Deendayal Port

Secretary TK Ramachandran of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) conducted a comprehensive review of critical development projects at Deendayal Port in Gujarat on Wednesday, as per an official statement.
The visit underscored the ministry's commitment to boosting port infrastructure and community welfare, with the secretary inspecting the newly developed Oil Jetty No 8 at Deendayal Port Authority (DPA).
This project aims to enhance the port's capacity for handling Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) and LPG products. The jetty, which can accommodate large vessels, is being developed at a revised cost of Rs 225.85 crore. Additionally, a joint meeting with stakeholders, including the Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), was held to tackle critical developmental issues.
