Airspace Closure Amid Missile Strikes Causes Major Flight Disruptions

Over 300 flights have been cancelled as India temporarily closes 25 airports after launching missile attacks on Pakistan-based terror targets. India's airspace restrictions have led to the cancellation of more than 300 flights and the temporary closure of 25 airports following armed forces' missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan. The closure affects major airports including Srinagar and Amritsar, with major airlines cancelling numerous flights.

IndiGo, Air India, and other carriers have grounded flights across northern and western India, offering affected passengers options for rescheduling or refunds. The operations halt comes as part of India's retaliation to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, under Operation Sindoor.

International airlines are also impacted, with carriers like Qatar Airways suspending services due to the airspace closure. As a result, around 140 flights from Delhi alone were affected, reflecting the widespread impact on global air traffic.
