In a bold move to expand its culinary reach, Zomoz, a leading QSR brand specializing in momos and baos, has successfully secured INR 5 crore in funding. This investment, co-led by The Chennai Angels and Hyderabad Angels, aims to establish a stronger presence in tier 2 cities across Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
Currently operating 72 outlets, Zomoz plans to increase this number to 100 within the next three quarters. The brand's profitability is driven by an asset-light model and robust unit economics. Co-Founder Shouvik Dhar emphasized the strategic use of technology, noting the development of a pilot project utilizing bots for quick momo production.
Chandu Nair of The Chennai Angels praised Zomoz's technological prowess and consumer popularity, while Pradeep Dhobale of Hyderabad Angels highlighted the innovative manufacturing processes and dedicated leadership team. With strong backing, Zomoz is poised to lead the next growth phase in the QSR sector.
