Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has greenlit road infrastructure projects in Maharashtra valued at an impressive Rs 1.50 lakh crore, with construction set to begin by 2026.
Speaking at the Vidhan Bhavan during the state legislature session, Gadkari outlined ambitious plans, including a new Pune-Sambhajinagar expressway to be constructed for Rs 16,318 crore, dramatically shortening travel times.
Significant developments also include the upcoming Talegaon-Chakan-Shikrapur Elevated Road and improvements along the Pune-Mumbai corridor, aiming to transform and significantly expedite commutes within the state.
