IndiGo has largely normalized its operations, according to Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, who spoke to reporters in Pune.
The airline had cancelled thousands of flights nationwide following an inability to comply with tighter safety regulations. However, it has now recovered about 90 per cent of its operations after peaking in cancellations on December 5.
The minister announced that a four-member committee will be set up to address the situation as affected passengers seek redress. In Pune, Mohol also highlighted the cultural importance of the Pune Book Festival.
