In a significant development at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, SARGAD LLC joined hands with the Government of Telangana to launch AeroNxt, aimed at transforming India's aerospace and defense manufacturing ecosystem. This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the WEF Annual Meeting 2026.
Under the agreement, SARGAD intends to invest up to $100 million USD into the state's burgeoning aerospace and defense sector. The initiative addresses crucial supply chain gaps, catering to the rising global demand for new aircraft amidst growing air travel. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) require reliable, cost-effective manufacturing partners to bridge this demand and manage supply chain uncertainties.
Guided by experienced global executives, the initiative will focus on four key objectives: modernizing MSMEs, developing next-gen aircraft components, expanding global OEM access, and establishing a Center of Excellence for aerospace MRO. SARGAD's venture leverages Telangana's rich industrial landscape, anchored by major players like HAL, DRDO, and Tata ASL, furthering India's Atmanirbhar Bharat mission and boosting job creation and export growth.
