India now stands as the world's third-largest startup ecosystem, with more than 200,000 recognised startups leading innovation and creating jobs nationwide, former President Ram Nath Kovind announced at a recent event.

At the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) event, Kovind pointed to over 100 startups achieving unicorn status as a testament to the country's dynamic business environment. His remarks came amid gatherings at the AI Impact Summit, where global leaders convened to discuss advancements in technology.
