Indian Youth Connect with Global Tech Leaders Through SVIP Success
The Silicon Valley Immersion Programme (SVIP), a collaboration between apna.co and AICTE, concluded with four winners earning fully-funded trips to Silicon Valley. The initiative aims to connect Indian youth with global tech leaders, equipping them with valuable skills for international opportunities and fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Jobs and professional networking platform apna.co, alongside the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has successfully wrapped up the Silicon Valley Immersion Programme. This initiative bridges Indian youth with global technology leaders.
The programme connects young Indians with tech giants and equips them with key skills for international opportunities, creativity, and problem-solving, as per a recent release.
The national competition concluded with winners Teena Chhatria, Aradhya Pitlawar, Kabir Arora, and Chaitanya Sai Krishna, who will enjoy a fully-funded trip to Silicon Valley.
These accomplished students, from institutions like XLRI Jamshedpur, WCE Sangli, and PEC Chandigarh, will gain industry exposure and insights from leading tech firms.
'This collaboration with apna.co exposes students to Silicon Valley's innovative mindset,' said AICTE Chairman T G Sitharam. 'Our goal is to prepare them as potential job creators and global innovators.'
The winners will engage with leaders from tech giants like Google, Apple, and Meta to understand their paths to becoming world-leading companies.
Nirmit Parikh, CEO & Founder of apna.co, highlighted the program's importance in allowing young Indians to learn from top industry leaders and make their dreams a reality. The initiative saw 25,000 registrations from 6,000 Indian colleges, concluding with a grand finale at AICTE headquarters in New Delhi. The top two teams won cash prizes of 4 lakhs and the trip to Silicon Valley.
