He pointed out that while the focus is on teaching Hindi to students, there is inadequate support for those moving to Maharashtra to learn Marathi.
Speaking at the Peasants and Workers Party foundation day event, Thackeray dared the state to act against those protesting the Maharashtra Special Public Security Bill. He underscored the plight of 'bhoomiputra' and the Marathi speaking populace, citing Raigad as a grim example of local farmers losing land to industrial developments.
Thackeray underscored the need for industries to respect the Marathi populace and demanded that Marathi youths get employment at the upcoming Navi Mumbai Airport. He also noted political dynamics involving parties like Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Maha Vikas Aghadi, reflecting broader regional narratives.
