Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar emphasized the significance of the upcoming tourist facility centre in East Champaran, asserting it will greatly benefit thousands visiting the historic Kesariya Buddha Stupa annually. The development aims to enrich visitors' understanding of Buddhism while celebrating Bihar's cultural heritage.
During his visit, Kumar inspected the under-construction centre and urged officials to expedite its completion. Highlighting its features, he mentioned a 5D theatre and a Bihar pavilion, designed to showcase the state's historical legacy. He reiterated the need for regular maintenance and improved facilities at the stupa.
The Chief Minister also evaluated health facilities, educational institutions, and local amenities, underscoring his administration's dedication to infrastructure development and public welfare. He visited health centres, distributed Ayushman cards, and interacted with schoolchildren, emphasizing education and community growth.
