In a calculated display of military strategy, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai lauded the Indian defense forces for their decisive action against terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The strikes, dubbed Operation Sindoor, were a direct response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack. 'I thank PM Modi and our Security Forces for this operation,' Sai remarked, acknowledging the operation's success.

Following the horrific Pahalgam attack, the Indian Armed Forces executed a strategic offensive early Wednesday under the banner of Operation Sindoor. Details of the operation were unveiled during a media briefing by key defense officials, including Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sophiya Qureshi. Wing Commander Singh emphasized that justice was sought for the victims, highlighting the destruction of nine terror sites without civilian casualties.

Col Qureshi showcased videos of the strategic strikes, which targeted notorious camps such as Muridke, linked to the 2008 Mumbai attack conspirators David Headley and Ajmal Kasab. The attack's barbaric intent was made clear by Foreign Secretary Misri, aiming to disrupt peace in Kashmir. Meanwhile, in another strategic move dubbed Mission Sankalp, the Indian forces continue their anti-naxal operations at the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, resulting in significant naxal casualties.
