The Kremlin has firmly dismissed allegations made by U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, suggesting that Russia is delaying peace negotiations. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov asserted that Moscow remains committed to achieving diplomatic solutions.
Keith Kellogg, Trump's senior envoy for Ukraine, recently criticized Russia for allegedly stalling talks while continuing military actions. In response, Peskov emphasized Russia's dedication to facilitating dialogue, expressing gratitude for Trump's mediation efforts.
Peskov announced that the schedule for the next round of negotiations is yet to be finalized, underscoring Russia's intention not to prolong discussions unnecessarily.
