Discussions may take place during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India in December, revisiting the 2018 USD 5 billion deal, despite U.S. sanction threats.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, refrained from commenting on plans to acquire additional systems, although the need for more is apparent.
