IMF board approves $1.2 billion disbursement to Pakistan, sources say

The IMF's executive board on Friday voted to approve a staff-level agreement reached with Pakistan last month, paving the way for a disbursement of $1.2 billion in fresh funds to the South Asia country, sources familiar with the decision said.
The lion's share of the funds will come from Pakistan's Extended Fund Facility with the International Monetary Fund, and separate $210 million coming from its Resilience and Sustainability Facility.
