The Public Works Department and district authorities initiated a significant demolition operation in the densely populated Dalmandi area targeting properties linked to the Waqf Board's 'Musafir Khana.' The action aims to reclaim encroached land or address unauthorized structures, transforming the historic hub into a high-security zone.

With over 300 personnel deployed, authorities stress the sensitivity of the area. The security apparatus includes paramilitary forces, Provincial Armed Constabulary, local police, and district officials to prevent disturbances during the demolition process. Senior officials confirm that necessary legal procedures were completed before proceeding.

However, the Allahabad High Court raised concerns about ongoing 'bulldozer justice' despite a clear Supreme Court ban. The court questioned the state's adherence to legal directives and emphasized the need to protect citizens' rights, highlighting the legal and ethical complexities surrounding such demolition activities.
