In a resolute declaration of anti-terrorism policy, Poland has reiterated its unwavering commitment to counter-terrorism amid concerns about cross-border terrorism impacting India. Wladyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski, Poland's Secretary of State and Deputy Foreign Minister, confirmed Warsaw's 'zero tolerance' stance against terrorist activities, including those occurring on Indian soil.

This affirmation comes in response to India's persistent worries about Pakistan's role in facilitating terrorism. Earlier this year, during discussions with Polish Deputy Prime Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, India stressed the need for Poland to adopt a tough stance against terrorism, emphasizing the importance of not encouraging terrorist infrastructures near its borders.

Paralleling the security challenges faced in Europe, Bartoszewski highlighted Poland's own issues with what he terms 'state terrorism' from Russia, including arson and cyberattacks.
