China calls Czech parliament speaker's visit to Taiwan 'wrongful decision'

China on Thursday called the planned visit by Markéta Pekarová Adamová, the Czech lower house of parliament speaker, to Taiwan in March a "wrongful decision."
"China resolutely opposes countries with which it has diplomatic ties engaging in official exchanges with Taiwan. We urge the relevant parties to cancel their wrongful decision," said Mao Ning, a spokesperson of the Chinese foreign ministry, at a regular briefing.
