Mexico will defend GMO corn policies after trade panel notification
Mexico's government will defend its GMO corn policies after it was formally notified of a trade dispute panel requested by the United States, the Mexican economy ministry said on Thursday.
The ministry argues its polices are "consistent with trade obligations" and will defend itself against U.S. claims that it is in breach of a North American trade pact, according to a statement posted on the social media platform X.
