Chhattisgarh Gov't Promises End to Naxalism, Sets Up Security Camps
Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai announced the state's commitment to combating Naxalism, with the aim of resolving the issue in three years. The government has set up 35 security camps and plans to establish 29 more. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma highlighted the importance of dialogue and comprehensive approaches.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared on Thursday that his administration has been robustly combating Naxalism over the past six months, aiming to resolve the issue within three years.
Speaking at a Panchajanya event, Sai noted that 35 security camps have been established in five Naxal-affected districts, with plans for 29 more. 'Six months ago, our prime minister and the home minister vowed to end Naxalism in three years. I believe we will be able to do it,' Sai stated.
Deputy CM Vijay Sharma emphasized the state government's preference for dialogue with Naxalites and their comprehensive strategy. He also highlighted the role of strong leadership from Home Minister Amit Shah and Sai in addressing the issue. Sharma reiterated the commitment to implementing the Uniform Civil Code despite challenges.
