Tragedy Strikes: Roadside Bomb Claims Lives of Coal Miners in Balochistan

A tragic attack unfolded in Pakistan's Balochistan province, where a roadside bomb explosion resulted in at least 11 deaths and seven injuries among coal miners. The incident occurred in the Shahrag area of the Harnai district.
According to Harnai Deputy Commissioner Hazrat Wali Kakar, the victims were rushed to the hospital for medical aid. Initial investigations suggest the bomb was an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted specifically to target the vehicle.
Balochistan government officials, including spokesperson Shahid Rind, expressed their deep sorrow over the attack, while affirming that a thorough investigation is underway. Past attacks in the region have often been attributed to the banned Baloch Liberation Army.
