Amid growing concerns over regional security, Telangana's Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has mandated high alert status among police forces to detain illegal residents from Pakistan and Bangladesh. This move comes in coherence with the statewide 'Operation Sindoor'.
During a strategic review meeting, Reddy called for emergency officials to cancel leaves and elevate surveillance across key areas, echoing the urgency to tighten security at foreign consulates and IT companies. The CM also announced a rally supporting the Indian Army, planned for Thursday.
In a bid to maintain order and preparedness, Reddy pressed for a strong communication network and public crisis resources, including blood and medicine supplies. He urged restraint on spreading fake news, even as preparations for an anti-misinformation cell unfold.
