Kirit Somaiya Demands Removal of Illegal Loudspeakers at Pune Mosques

In Mumbai, loudspeakers have been removed from various religious sites, and Somaiya wants Pune to follow suit. He believes that the use of loudspeakers for five daily prayers at mosques breaches legal limits. Highlighting action taken in other cities, he expressed a commitment to pursuing this issue statewide.

Furthermore, Somaiya critiqued the politicization of terrorism cases by Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena leaders. He lamented the alleged leniency towards certain groups, framing the issue as a matter of legal equity and expressing hopes for a thorough investigation into the Mumbai train blasts.
