Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has endorsed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegations regarding widespread voter deletions, pointing the finger at the Election Commission for not cooperating with the ongoing Criminal Investigation Department (CID) probe initiated by the state government.

Shivakumar confirmed Gandhi's charges, adding that attempts were made to delete voter names using incorrect telephone numbers. He highlighted that similar incidents had surfaced in KR Puram. The Deputy CM emphasized the need for urgent action and cooperation from the Election Commission to advance the investigation.

In addition to electoral issues, Shivakumar addressed the infrastructure complaints from Bengaluru's IT companies. Following comments from BlackBuck Co-Founder Rajesh Yabaji, who cited road conditions and traffic as reasons for relocating, Shivakumar assured swift governmental response to improve road infrastructure and alleviate congestion, forming a committee led by the Chief Minister to tackle the problem.
