Punjab Police Dismantles Cross-Border Drug Ring
Punjab Police has dismantled a cross-border drug smuggling module, arresting operative Kuldeep Singh with 5 kilograms of heroin. The operation, led by DGP Gaurav Yadav, uncovered connections to Pakistan-based smuggler Awan, who used drones for delivery. The case is registered under the NDPS Act in Amritsar.

In a significant breakthrough, Punjab Police have successfully dismantled a cross-border drug smuggling operation. A top official revealed that an operative, Kuldeep Singh, has been apprehended with 5 kilograms of heroin.
The arrest, made by the Counter Intelligence teams in Amritsar, linked Singh to Pakistan-based smuggler Awan, who was reportedly employing drones to transport narcotics across the border.
Singh was intercepted on the Ajnala-Lopoke Road, and a case has been filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at the State Special Operations Cell in Amritsar.
