Rajasthan has set a national precedent by completing 100% digitization of its electoral rolls through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative, as officially announced by Chief Electoral Officer Navin Mahajan.
Achieving this milestone involved a coordinated effort by Booth Level Officers, assistants, supervisors, and district election staff. Mahajan highlighted that the state also excels in voter mapping, with over 97% completed, ensuring minimal documentation for voters during the claims and objections phase.
The draft electoral roll will be released on December 16, allowing for a period of submissions until January 15, 2026. The final roll is slated for publication on February 14, 2026, following a series of hearings and verifications.
