In a significant development, the Goa Police have sought assistance from the CBI to issue an Interpol Blue Notice against Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra. These individuals are the primary suspects in the tragic fire at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub that claimed 25 lives, including staff and tourists.
The two brothers, identified as the nightclub owners, reportedly fled to Phuket, Thailand, just hours after the catastrophe. The police hope to gather more information about their whereabouts and activities as part of the criminal investigation through Interpol's network.
A Blue Notice, unlike a Red Notice, is aimed at collecting additional information. Meanwhile, the Goa Police continue efforts to coordinate with the CBI for their swift apprehension. The deadly blaze struck about 25 kilometers from Panaji, leading to the tragic loss of lives.
