Historic Parade at IMA Commissions 525 New Army Officers

In a grand display of military tradition, the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, celebrated the commissioning of 525 officer cadets on Saturday during its Passing Out Parade. The event took place at the Drill Square in front of the academy's iconic Chatwood Building.
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, the reviewing officer, commended the officers on their successful completion of training, highlighting their discipline and leadership. A highlight was the 'Sword of Honour' presented to ACA Nishkal Dwivedi, recognizing his outstanding performance in training.
With the participation of 491 Indian cadets and 34 foreign trainees from 14 countries, the parade concluded with a flourish as helicopters showered flowers upon the newly commissioned officers, marking the beginning of their service in the Indian Army.
