Ahead of Republic Day celebrations, Delhi Police carried out a series of anti-terror mock drills to gauge preparedness at vulnerable spots in north Delhi, law enforcement officials announced Thursday.
The exercises, held in early January at key locations like the Red Fort and Delhi University Metro Station, aimed to improve coordination among agencies and heighten public awareness of potential terror threats.
Simulations included bomb blasts and terrorist attacks, with multiple agencies, such as the SWAT and Delhi Fire Service, participating to ensure effective responses to security challenges in the region's critical sites.
