In a significant legal development, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered the consolidation of all petitions linked to the contentious Bhojshala Temple-Kamal Maula Mosque matter to be heard at its Indore bench.

Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, along with Justice Vinay Saraf's division bench, transferred the case on Wednesday, emphasizing convenience for the parties involved, as the monument lies within Dhar.

The 11th-century structure, protected by the Archaeological Survey of India, is at the heart of a religious dispute, with Hindus and Muslims laying claim as a temple and mosque, respectively. Now set for a February 23 hearing, the case proceeds under strict adherence to an ASI order that allows scheduled prayers from both communities.
