Illegal LPG Racket Busted in Delhi's Palam Area

In a significant crackdown, Delhi Police have apprehended three individuals for operating an illegal LPG storage and refilling business in the Palam locality of southwest Delhi, authorities stated on Thursday.

The arrests followed a raid on March 28, after a tip-off led police to discover 45 domestic gas cylinders and refilling equipment at a vacant plot in Adarsh Gali. Police recovered these from a tempo truck and the surrounding area.

The arrested individuals, identified as Anaar Singh, Satyaveer, and Vikas Kumari, were found to possess no valid licenses for their operations, which constituted serious safety risks. An investigation is ongoing to uncover further details of the racket.
