Nashik Court Denies Nida Khan's Anticipatory Bail Amidst TCS Scandal

A court in Nashik refused anticipatory bail for Nida Khan, accused of participating in sexual harassment and coercive religious conversion activities at Tata Consultancy Services' Nashik unit. The prosecution argued that her custodial interrogation is vital due to the seriousness of the charges.

Public prosecutor Ajay Misar announced the court's decision, noting that Khan is a principal suspect in the case and that a final court order is forthcoming. The allegations detail Khan advising female employees to adhere to Islamic dress and conduct standards.

A search for Khan is underway across Maharashtra, with Nashik Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the claims involving nine separate FIRs. TCS has reiterated its longstanding zero-tolerance approach to harassment and coercion.
