European Union member states and lawmakers from the European Parliament have struck an accord to revise landmark regulations concerning artificial intelligence. According to a statement issued by Cyprus, currently presiding over the EU Council, a provisional consensus was achieved with the European Parliament negotiators. The proposal is designed to streamline and simplify existing AI regulations, responding to concerns about the impact of stricter measures.
