On Saturday, AAP leaders took feedback from party councillors in Delhi regarding the Lok Sabha elections and resolved to strengthen their organization at the grassroots level.
The AAP faced a setback, failing to secure any seats in Delhi during the Lok Sabha elections. As part of a seat-share arrangement with its INDIA bloc ally Congress, AAP contested four seats while Congress fielded candidates in three.
Durgesh Pathak, a senior AAP leader and the party's Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in-charge, stated, "It was decided to further strengthen the organization." Pathak also accused the Narendra Modi-led government of continuous injustice towards Delhi.
The meeting reviewed election results and outlined the party's future strategy. Attendees included Sandeep Pathak, AAP's national general secretary (organization), Delhi unit convenor Gopal Rai, and other senior leaders.
"Senior leaders decided to reinforce the organization at the grassroots level," reiterated Durgesh Pathak. Ward-level results were also discussed, with a consensus that the organization needs more strengthening.
Despite the incarceration of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and senior leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, AAP remains committed to the ongoing battle for the Constitution and democracy alongside the people of Delhi.
On Friday, AAP leaders also reviewed the party's performance with its MLAs.
