Jammu and Kashmir LG Predicts Normalcy Resumption, Hails Historic Union Budget

He also praised the Union Budget as historic, stating that it focuses on farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged, and will aid in the overall development of both India and Jammu and Kashmir.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir announced on Wednesday that normalcy in the Union Territory is expected within a few months, as authorities prepare to give a befitting response to inimical elements.
'Those who cannot digest the peaceful atmosphere here should be ready for their end,' Sinha stated. 'People have responded aptly before, and the situation demands it again. I believe normalcy will return in a few months,' he added.
Welcoming the Union Budget, Sinha described it as historic and expressed gratitude towards the prime minister and the finance minister. He emphasized that the budget would lay a strong foundation for a developed India, and subsequently, a developed Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that the budget's main focus is on farmers, youngsters, women, and the underprivileged, with significant financial allocations for the overall growth of Jammu and Kashmir.
