BJP Criticizes Opposition Over Union Budget Remarks

The BJP on Wednesday strongly condemned the Congress and other opposition parties for their criticism of the Union Budget, labelling it as a demonstration of political frustration and a negative attitude towards 'backward states' requiring special developmental focus.

At a press conference, BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's budget has been well-received across the country for its progressive, pro-people, pro-poor, and pro-farmer stance, emphasizing its vision for a 'Viksit Bharat.'

Rao demanded an apology from Congress and Rahul Gandhi, given the development-focused budgetary allocations for states like Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, accusing the opposition of being unable to tolerate the assistance due to political motivations.
