Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole has accused the ruling Mahayuti alliance of creating a rift between OBCs and the Maratha community over reservation issues ahead of the assembly elections.

During a divisional review meeting in Latur, Beed, and Dharashiv districts, Patole stated that the Maha Vikas Aghadi, which comprises the Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and NCP (SP), aims to win more than 185 out of 288 seats.

Patole, along with AICC's Maharashtra incharge Ramesh Chennithala, also criticized the Mahayuti government led by CM Eknath Shinde, accusing them of poor governance and highlighting the rising number of farmer suicides.
