BJP Criticizes NC for 'Political Drama' Amid J-K Elections

BJP's national general secretary Tarun Chugh criticized National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah for his comments on unity in the country, calling it a 'filmy drama'. Chugh accused Abdullah of insincerity, citing historical events and alleging the NC is pushing Jammu and Kashmir back to violence ahead of assembly elections.

Chugh labeled Abdullah's calls for unity as insincere, referencing past conflicts in the region when Abdullah held office.

Addressing the media, Chugh claimed that while the BJP promotes development, the NC seeks to return J-K to an era of violence and division.
