Rajasthan CM Leads Delegation to South Korea and Japan to Woo Investors

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is leading a high-level delegation on a visit to South Korea and Japan. The team departed from Delhi International Airport on Sunday evening, according to a press release by the Rajasthan government. The delegation includes Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shikhar Aggarwal, Principal Secretary to the Industries Department Ajitabh Sharma, and other senior officials.

The Chief Minister's tour, scheduled from September 9-14, aims to attract investments for the 'Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit 2024, which will take place in Jaipur from December 9-11. Investor meetings will be held across various cities in South Korea and Japan, with Sharma engaging in detailed discussions with global business representatives about investment opportunities in Rajasthan.

Earlier on Sunday, ministers and senior officials bid farewell to Chief Minister Sharma at his residence and Jaipur Airport. In Japan, Sharma will also attend the 'Neemrana Diwas' celebrations, acknowledging the Japanese industrial zone in Neemrana, Alwar district. Additionally, the delegation will meet with representatives from leading Japanese and Korean firms such as POSCO International, Daikin, Hitachi, Beltekno, Samsung Healthcare, and Hanwha Solution to discuss potential investments in sectors including infrastructure, steel, automotive, renewable energy, electronics, heavy industry, and education.
