During her journey on Air Force Two to campaign events in the Western U.S., Harris received updates on the federal response to the storm. She also engaged in discussions with Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina and reached out to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to understand their immediate needs.
The Vice President's commitment highlights the administration's focus on supporting affected communities in the southeastern United States.
