Mali has put political activities on hold before a protest against the military junta, which has been in control since the coups of 2020 and 2021, as confirmed by authorities on Wednesday.
Political parties in the West African nation are urging a return to constitutional order and a presidential election. They aimed for a mass demonstration on Friday.
