BJP Criticizes Congress Leader on Parliament Session Demand

State BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar questioned Gandhi’s commitment, highlighting his reported absenteeism from Parliament when crucial legislation is debated. Chandrasekhar remarked that decisions on special sessions are a prerogative of the Union government.

The BJP underscored India's recent defensive success against Pakistan as evidence of its military preparedness while opposition leaders press for a unified stance against terrorism. However, Indo-Pak tensions saw some resolution with a ceasefire agreement after the severe confrontation.
