Israel Agrees to Trump's Iran Ceasefire Plan
Israel has agreed to a U.S.-proposed ceasefire after achieving its objective of reducing Iran's nuclear threat. Prime Minister Netanyahu praised U.S. support while warning against ceasefire violations. This follows attacks on Iran's facilities, though Iran denies intent to develop nuclear weapons.
Israel has approved U.S. President Donald Trump's initiative for a ceasefire with Iran after declaring success in eliminating Tehran's nuclear threat, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.
The statement, issued on Tuesday, thanked President Trump and the U.S. for their supportive role in the operation. It also confirmed Israel's agreement to Trump's proposal, emphasizing coordination between the two nations.
Following Iran's missile launches, Netanyahu warned that Israel would decisively respond to any ceasefire breaches. Despite Iran's denial of a nuclear weapons programme, tensions surge as Israel and the U.S. previously targeted Iran's nuclear sites.
