Rahul Gandhi, a prominent Congress leader, has stirred significant controversy with his announcement to release explosive data that he claims will expose serious flaws in India's election system. The revelation promises to be akin to an 'atom bomb', alleging electoral rigging in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and labeling the current system as 'dead'.
Speaking at a legal conclave themed 'Constitutional Challenges: Perspectives and Pathways', Gandhi asserted that the prime minister is precariously seated with a 'thin majority'. He cited instances of alleged fake votes uncovered by the Congress in Karnataka as evidence that could shake the electoral foundations.
Gandhi lambasted the Election Commission, alleging it has been undermined and rendered ineffective. He emphasized the need for legal support to protect the Constitution, suggesting that a collective of lawyers offer their time to defend those facing legal challenges due to political opposition.
